



From December 3-5, 2025, Ms. Chaovana Viwatpanachati, Vice President, Board Member, and Treasurer, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kriengkrai Boonlert-U-Thai, Chairman, Foreign Affairs Sub-committee, as representatives of the Federation of Accounting Professions (TFAC), attended international conferences in Jakarta, Indonesia. The delegation participated in three significant forums for the accounting profession: the IAI 68th Anniversary, IFAC Connect ASIAPAC 2025, and the AFA-IFAC Dialogue.
The essence of this participation focused on preparing the accounting profession for the future under the theme "Resilient, Sustainable, and Future Ready-Beyond Numbers, Building the Golden Future". Discussions covered critical challenges in the current era, including the development of Sustainability Reporting standards to support impactful investment, building Trust in AI within the profession, and enhancing talent and education to cultivate skilled business leaders ready to navigate change.
Furthermore, the representatives engaged in in-depth policy discussions with partner organizations regarding the Professional Accountancy Organization (PAO) Development Strategy and guidelines for the practical implementation of International Standard. These initiatives aim to elevate the quality and confidence of the accounting profession across the Asia-Pacific region in a unified direction, especially International Standard on Quality Management (ISQM).
