On August 4, 2026, the Federation of Accounting Professions (TFAC) welcomed approximately 50 delegates from the ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA) and the Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountants (IAI) to the TFAC headquarters in Bangkok for the “IAI Official Visit to TFAC.” The event was also attended by approximately 50 Thai participants, including representatives from small and medium-sized accounting firms, ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountants (ASEAN CPAs), and accounting professionals in Thailand.
The event was honored by opening remarks from Mr. Winid Silamongkol, President of TFAC, and Dr. Ardan Adiperdana, President of AFA and IAI, who welcomed participants and emphasized the importance of professional collaboration within the region.
The visit aimed to strengthen relationships and cooperation between the accounting professional organizations of Thailand and Indonesia, while providing a platform for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and good practices in professional development, accounting firm management and governance, and the enhancement of professional service quality across the region.
