On 16th –17th June 2025, the Federation of Accounting Professions (TFAC), as the national professional accountancy organization of Thailand, participated in the 110th Meeting of the Coordinating Committee on Services (CCS) and Related Meetings.
Ms. Runee Palakajorsak, Specialist in the Academic Division, joined the meeting virtually, and
Ms. Napat Liamsomboon, Foreign Service Officer, physically attended the meeting in Vientiane, Lao PDR, along with representatives from professional accounting bodies of the other nine ASEAN Member States.
ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant Coordinating Committee (ACPACC) under CCS reported that a total of 8,090 professionals have been registered as ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountants (ASEAN CPA) across all 10 ASEAN Member States. Thailand currently has 976 ASEAN CPAs. The meeting also discussed the development of the ASEAN CPA website and the establishment of a knowledge hub to serve as a repository of information, articles, and knowledge related to Sustainability Reporting relevant to the ASEAN region. Additionally, the
Business Services Sectoral Working Group (BSSWG) considered the signing of the MoU within the scope of the Task Force on Sustainability Reporting.
